While the “lamestream” media sits on its hands, the goons at Glenn Beck’s “The Blaze” restore some journalistic integrity by —of all things —examining the context of James O’Keefe’s videographic attack on NPR. The video evidence no doubt weakens the case against NPR, but the damage to the public’s perception of NPR is already done. With any luck, the availability of such footage will serve as a wake-up call (is that you Shirley Sherrod?) to the journalists and political figures eager to take the Right’s bait.
How many more respected institutions and sensible people must be sacrificed before the mainstream Left learns to question the source of attacks against it and demand context?
